About KCOJ: The Kiwanis Club of Jackson celebrated its twentieth birthday in April, 2011. We are affiliated with Kiwanis International. The Kiwanis defining statement is "A global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time."
Since our founding, we have raised $60,000 for the Kiwanis International Iodine Deficiency Disorders project, more than $35,000 for Childrens Specialized Hospital, over $20,000 for scholarships for deserving Jackson seniors, and so much more.
We have co-hosted over fifteen annual Police Officer of the Year dinners, countless Breakfast with Santa pancake breakfasts, done roadside clean-ups, distributed free child car-seat safety kits, and so much more.
Be sure to view our photo albums for a look at our club in action!
Among our important and enjoyable activities is our sponsorship of several "K-Family" organizations. We sponsor two Key Clubs (at Jackson Memorial High School and at Jackson Liberty High School) and two Builders Clubs (at Goetz Middle School and at McAuliffe Middle School.)
We do a lot of good, and we have a lot of fun. With more members, we can accomplish more. We meet the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, at 6:45 p.m. at The View at Eagle Ridge.
